Patience is found by being mindful
even when there seems to be nothing to watch.

Imagine the first people who looked up at the night sky.

The impatient ones said: "Meh. It's just a bunch of stars."
And they stayed here on earth, on their small patch of land.

But the ones who kept mindful,
who continued to pay attention even though
it looked like there was nothing happening,
these people began to notice subtle, small, slow movements
in those stars.  Movement SO slow
that most people didn't even know it was happening.

But movement was happening.

So while the others became frustrated with such diligence
and got stuck in small places,
those other, patient people who just paid attention,
well, these discovered a whole universe.

Don't wait on your dreams.

For all the important hints in life, the timing always sucks.
Waiting for a good time to quit your job?
The stars will never align
and the traffic lights of life will never all be green at the same time.

The universe doesn't conspire against you,
but it doesn't go out of it's way to line up the pins either.

Conditions are never perfect.

"Someday" is a disease that will take your dreams
to the grave with you.
