When making a choice:
always favor whatever option
is most likely to lead to the greatest number of people
offering you the greatest number of thank you's in the end.

Do not decide based solely on what will make you feel grateful;
instead, prioritize what others will be grateful for.

You will be amazed how, over time,
the two will converge into one.

Patience is found by being mindful
even when there seems to be nothing to watch.

Imagine the first people who looked up at the night sky.

The impatient ones said: "Meh. It's just a bunch of stars."
And they stayed here on earth, on their small patch of land.

But the ones who kept mindful,
who continued to pay attention even though
it looked like there was nothing happening,
these people began to notice subtle, small, slow movements
in those stars.  Movement SO slow
that most people didn't even know it was happening.

But movement was happening.

So while the others became frustrated with such diligence
and got stuck in small places,
those other, patient people who just paid attention,
well, these discovered a whole universe.
